A 6 day seminar with Maruyama Sensei, Founder of Aikido Yuishinkai (accompanied by Michael Williams Sensei). An original student of O-Sensei and a professional instructor since 1967. The seminar will cover aikido arts, daito-ryu roots, weapons lineage and yuki - the healing arts of aikido. It also offers a chance to make new friends and reconnect with Aikido Yuishinkai friends from near and far. All levels and styles of aikido are welcome to attend.(2006 seminar pics here). A series of half hour workshops will run on Monday at 5pm that may be of intrest to participants.
This year marks Maruyama Sensei's Golden Anniversary of aikido to be celebrated at the seminar dinner. Following the Brisbane seminar Maruyama sensei will continue his tour at Melbourne, New Zealand and Fiji
Attendees may register for the 6 day seminar, or for the extended weekend(Fri,Sat,Sun). Registrations include lunches and the seminar dinner. Casual registrations will only be available for Yuki and the Fri,Sat sessions. Full seminar registration is around $295, extended w/end $180. Early birds, pre-registrants, long distance travellers and concessions will attract significant discounts.

The seminar will be held 9km south of the Brisbane city centre at the Hamlyn-Harris Pavillion (more room than 2006), Mt Gravatt Show Grounds(map).The seminar dinner will be held again at the fabulous Griffith Campus Clubpartners and families welcome.
